Jeffrey R. Neher
Chief Investment Strategist, Managing Director
Originally from Indiana, Jeffrey (Jeff) R. Neher attended Indiana University where he studied business and computer science. After college, Jeff moved to Charlotte, North Carolina where he obtained a Microsoft Certification Degree. In Charlotte, Jeff worked for several leading technology companies including EDS, Lockheed Martin, and AOL/Time Warner.
At the age of 18, under the guidance of his father Jim Neher, Jeff began to trade stock and option portfolios with success. In fact, using cash flow created from options, Jeff leased his first car while forming a commitment and passion for trading options. Jeff’s father retired at an early age and relocated the entire family to Naples, Florida in 1993 where he traded his and his family’s monies using an option strategy. In early 2004, Jeff left AOL/Time Warner to join his father who founded QFA, LLC in 2003. Together, the father-son team grew the success of QFA, LLC in Naples, Florida. In the winter of 2013, Jeff’s father suddenly passed away. But, both QFA and Jeff continues to honor Jim’s legacy, passion, and drive each day to create cash flow in a unique style of trading that most advisors do not do because of the attention it demands each and every day.
Jeff leverages his technology background in using complex scanners and data to analyze Quantitative Analysis, Technical Analysis, and Cyclical Analysis when trading options or stocks. Combined with an impressive ability to utilize the power of statistical analysis through computer applications, QFA attributes much success to a unique proprietary alert system that monitors stock and option prices that Jeff developed. Today, Jeff maintains a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 65 Investment Advisor license, and is the Chief Investment Strategist/Senior Managing Member for QFA, LLC.
